Eligible Criteria for WBSSC CGL Recruitment 2014-15

Essential Qualification: Candidates must have possess a degree of a recognized University or its equivalent. and must have the ability to read, write and speak Bengali for the Post of Inspector (Backward Classes Welfare),
Candidates must have possess A Bachelor’s Degree with Anthropology or Economics and Sociology and At least two years experience on Socio-economic investigation surveys and analysis of data in an Organization or Institute of repute For The Post of Research Investigator, Candidates must have possess A Degree from a recognized University or equivalent and should be acquinted with social customs and culture of the Minorities of West Bengal for the Post of Minotiry Development Officer and Candidates must have possess A 4-years Bachelor’s degree in Fishery Science from a recognized University with Knowledge of Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic resorces and Fishing Harbours in West Bengal and Must be able to read and write Bengali or Nepali for The Post of Fishery Extension Officer Under West Bengal Junior Fishery Service Grade-II.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 year to 32 years as on 1st January 2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt. rules. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for OBC-A and OBC-B candidates of West Bengal, upto 37 years of age for Persons with Disabilities (having physical disability of at least 40% and above).

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected through written test and oral Interview. The shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for an oral interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the aggregate marks secured by the candidates in both written test and oral interview. Detailed scheme of examination will be decided by the Commission depending on the number of applications received for each post and same will be published in Commission’s website in the month of February, 2015.

Application & Examination Fees: All categories of candidates except SC/ST/PWD shall pay Examination fees of Rs.200/- and Processing fees of Rs.20/- (Total amount Rs.220/-). Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD shall pay Processing fees of Rs.20/- only as they are exempted from paying any Examination fees through payment gateway using Debit Cards / Credits Cards / Net Banking of any bank. WBSCTE JEXPO VOCLET Admission 2015-16

Polytechnic Education came under National Framework of Technical Education soon after independence to bridge the gap between Engineers and Workmen. Towards industrialisation, plans were made to build PSUs, increase the network ofrailways and capacity building in Ordnance Factories and others industries. There was a felt need to develop a pool of technicians who could supervise the work in the workshop and in the site. New polytechnics were set-up in different pla periods. The polyrechnics initially offered courses in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. With rapid industrialisation processes there was a felt need for introduction of courses like Mining Engineering, Radio Communication Engineering, Architecture and the like.

National Policy of Education (NPE), 1986 highlighed the need for strengthening the Polytechnic Education System to cater to the need to emerging industries and technologies. To develop the Polytechnic Education System to the desired level, it required lot of investments. Government of India drew a Project for upgradation and stregthening of the Polytechnic Education in the country with assistance of the World Bank. The State of West Bengal participated in the Technician Education-II Project supported by the World Bank (IDA Credit No. 2223-IN). The project in our State started in 1992 and completed in October 1999. A total investment of about Rs.142 crores was made under the project. New Polytechnics were set-up, new coourses were introduced and extensive staff development activities were taken-up. Curricula were improved for the girls. Workshops and Laboratories were upgraded and modernised. Civil works was done in all the polytechnics.

Candidates are selected based on RRBs- CWE-II conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2013 and Personal Interview.

Eligible candidates can apply online from the website www.brkgb.com from 01-08-2014 to 19-08-2014.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1.Before applying online candidate should have valid E mail ID (as specified in online application form while applying for RRBs- CWE-II conducted by IBPS in September/ October 2013).
2. Log on to website www.brkgb.com.
3. Click on the link “Recruitment”.
4. Take printout of fee payment Challan and fill the Fee Payment Challan in a clear & legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.

WBSCVT ITI Online Counseling Process

The counseling process will be held in online basis and will be started from 16th July 2014 to 25th July 2014. After preparation of State wide Merit List, a SMS will be send to the candidate’s mobile number and Eail ID as provided in the application form containing User ID and Password for Log in to the portal www.wbscvt.net . For participating in the online counseling candidates have to pay counseling fees Rs.200/- (Two hundred Only) in cash for getting E-cash coupons available at respective Help Desks.

  1. Visit on West Bengal State Council of Vocational Training’s website www.wbscvt.net
  2. A new window for Online counselling of ITI/ITC/Jr Polytechnic will open,
  3. Here you Register (It is mandatory for applicants)
  4. Click On “NEW REGISTRATION” Option
  5. Please Enter User ID and Password
  6. Click on “PROCEED” (Your name automatically apperar from Council database)
  7. Now Verify and Click “SUBMIT” Option
  8. Enter the E-cash coupon number to participate in the on line counseling.
  9. After Successful registration you will receive password via SMS
  10. Next Step again Visit www.wbscvt.net homepage
  11. Enter User ID and Password
  12. Next Verify your Personal Information
  13. Click On “ONLINE CHOICE FILLING”
  14. Select College and Trade Preference.
  15. After Filling Choice Click on “SAVE CHOICE”
  16. After Save take a print filled choice form.
  17. After publication of WBSCVT ITI Counselling Result you can Take Printout.
  18. Now go to the Institute where you has been allotted with all original documents for admission .

WBSCVT ITI Seat Allocation

After successful completion of the choice filling , based on the rank position and choice of trades given by the Applicant, Seat will be allocated to the Applicant in those Institutes for which he/she has given the choice. The applicant can see his allocated seats and take a print out of seat confirmation sleep from the website www.wbscvt.net .
